Jewelry and other forms of art during the Edwardian era were elaborate and decorative. Though the 20th century had begun, the Victorian influence was still strong, and this was reflected in the era’s classic, feminine patterns, including jewelry with hearts, flowers, and lacy filigree.

Although the watch chain has been in circulation since the 16th Century, the Albert watch chain was introduced much later. During the 19th Century Albert chains were first seen named after a style of watch chain Prince Albert wore during the Victorian period and beyond.

We are smitten with this beautifully hallmarked American example with ample bells and whistles. A dog clip and c-clasp function as the closures, a phenomenal wavy T-bar connects with an additional c-clasp.
