Opulent and regal!
This 19th century Austro-Hungarian bracelet is a particularly special example, as it is in immaculate condition for her age, and features breathtaking detail.
Crafted in silver with a soft gold wash, this bracelet blends ornate grandeur with fairytale like elegance. The silver is particularly striking, as it creates a striking three-dimensionality with its sloping, buckle-like links. A perfect canvas for the stars of the show: these beautiful foiled-back garnets (foiled specifically to emulate a rich ruby-like veneer), and these dainty pearls.
Together, these elements combine to create the sweetest floral motif: the rich wine-red garnets form the petals, while the vibrant pearls create delicate floret discs. Against the silver (and the garnets), the creamy pearls create the most striking juxtaposition!
A wonderful addition to any antique jewelry collection!
