One look at the glorious glow of this opal and you may just believe in magic… A phenomenal victorian slide chain or lariat boasts a grand 4.30ct opal cabochon of remarkable depth, color, likely of Australian origin, in wonderful condition. Lariat slide chains are always sought after for their versatility, but this particular example, with her baroque-esque scrolls, and animated channels for the chain to pass on either side, is completed with gorgeous tear drop finials to each herringbone chain that seem to appear as though tears of an angel were frozen at a moment of descent. This may just be my favorite one we’ve had yet
This special long guard slide chain boasts 18” in length and features a detailed slide, financials, and a c clasp at the back. Please note that the lariat was frozen in place.
