Sweet and darling!
These 19th century English chitter earrings are as playful as they sound! Crafted circa 1870’s in 9 carat gold, this pair is constructed in the iconic Archaeological Revivalist design. The top part of the earrings features a botanical foliate design that pairs well with the bubbly shape of the terminating boules.
The fun thing about chitter jewelry is that it is meant to sing as it is worn! Once on, these earrings sing on the ear as their boules dangle. How utterly whimsical! Not only are these earrings playful in the sweetness of ways, but there is a lightness to them that transcends.
A delightful addition to any antique jewelry collection!
