This is a marvelous cameo locket ring features a special cameo of brothers Cupid (the god of love) and Anteros (the god of requited love) playing together with whimsey. The closed-back, heavy gold original 15ct setting features a special locket compartment behind the cameo, to house whatever the wearer may like. At some point, this beautiful, highly carved romantic cameo was set with a shank. I couldn't be more fond of this rare find.

Condition: Excellent, the cameo and band are in great condition. Expert carving of cameo, as previously stated, this is a conversion ring of the highest order.
