A beautiful pair of French jet glass set in rolled gold with 14ct ear wires. Precious jet glass jewelry in this caliber was made in France for English export. During a moment of prosperous trade between the countries, French artisans created many such examples of fine French jet glass jewelry, and these beautiful sets were voraciously collected abroad and domestically in their country of origin. This beautiful set is a very fine example featuring geometric epaulet shaped earrings from which pendulous faceted finials extend at the top. Perfect for the discerning collector of 19th century treasure.
