The quality of this pendant is remarkable. A Victorian example, this wonderfully carved drop has all of the details we look for in a piece from this period. Featuring an organic carving of fauna down the sides, and a faceted top, this coral specimen shows a color shift (presenting lighter at the top) underscoring the organic nature of the medium.
As an avid coral collector, I am always excited to find pieces like this! With a 9k gold top, this pendant may have, at one point, been part of a pair of earrings, or a pendant drop, and is living contentedly now as a drop, a wonderful addition to any neck stack.
