If Empress Eugenie invited you to dine at the palace, you would wear this brooch. An outstanding 19th century piece in 18ct with nine rose cut diamonds and six glorious pearls is both fringed and enameled. Sometimes called a corsage brooch, this massive jewel would have been at home in the finest manoires de Paris in the 1860's. Mint in the "royal appointment" monogrammed box, should your initials be M. C. this jewel is meant to be (and if not, change your name!) Effortless, timeless, the design is sumptuous, the surprise of popping open the box gives a fresh flutter of delight each time you do so.
